Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rick Mcintosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick Mcintosh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dean Cross!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cross throws a head kick but Mcintosh moves out of range.
Cross closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mcintosh circles away.

Mcintosh has closed the distance and engaged Cross in a clinch.

Mcintosh pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cross tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mcintosh sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cross somewhat.

Mcintosh closes the distance and clinches.
Mcintosh lands a body shot in the clinch.

Mcintosh has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Cross clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Cross is really stuck here.
Mcintosh misses with an elbow to the head.
Mcintosh tries to get the hooks in deep but Cross pushed the leg off.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cross looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cross prevents Mcintosh from getting a body triangle.

Mcintosh is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Cross is defending well though. Mcintosh let's go of the attempt for now.
Mcintosh is throwing strikes by Cross counters by rolling into a better position. After a scramble, Cross regains half guard.
Mcintosh is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Mcintosh is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Cross manages to get to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mcintosh accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Mcintosh drops back, looking for a kneebar! Cross looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Cross looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Cross!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mcintosh tries to improve position but can't.
Cross tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Cross is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Mcintosh looks calm but he's in trouble here. Cross gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Mcintosh is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Cross lets go of the hold and Mcintosh can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Dean Cross!
