Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rig Dig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brayden Stock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rig Dig!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brayden Stock!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dig tries for a takedown but Stock circles away easily
and Stock counters with a head kick.
Dig shoots and misses
and Stock counters with a right hand to the body.
Stock throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Dig.
Dig doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Stock counter with a right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rig Dig. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stock tries to close the distance and clinch but Dig swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dig doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Stock counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Stock misses with a double jab.
A solid leg kick lands there for Stock.
Dig doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Stock counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Stock throws a body punch but Dig moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stock fails to land with a series of punches.

Stock clinches up against the cage.

Stock lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Dig actively working from the bottom here.

Dig looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Stock stalling.

Dig is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Stock pulls his head out easily.

Stock is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dig is just riding it out for now. Stock eventually gives up the hold.
Dig gets back to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stock engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Dig looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Dig has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stock can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stock postures up.

Dig is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stock stands up over Dig, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stock slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Stock sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dig's guard.
Dig is looking to improve his position.
Still in half guard, Stock seems content to control.

Dig looking for subs from the bottom but Stock mounts him!
Dig is bucking up trying to escape but Stock cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Stock cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stock tries to control but Dig wriggling away.
Stock looking to control and managing it successfully.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stock landing punches.


Dig is rocked!


It looks like Rig Dig has been cut.
A big strike lands for Stock! That's really hurt Dig and he's turned his back - Stock keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Stock jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brayden Stock!
