Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Gustafsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Laurent Tesser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gustafsson's entrance music is Tinie Tempah - Written In The Stars. A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Tesser!
Tesser is looking to clinch but Gustafsson is avoiding it.

and Gustafsson counters with a three punch combo that has Tesser backing up. Tesser nods at Gustafsson to acknowledge the strikes.
Tesser takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Gustafsson lands a head kick. Tesser smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Tesser steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gustafsson.

Tesser tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gustafsson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Laurent Tesser seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tesser tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gustafsson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Gustafsson lunges at Tesser with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Tesser's hand.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Gustafsson, as that shot connected.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tesser moves forwards but Gustafsson connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Gustafsson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Tesser wants to clinch up but Gustafsson keeps it at a distance.
Tesser rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gustafsson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Gustafsson lands with a straight right. Tesser didn't see that one coming.

Tesser is still on wobbly legs! Can Gustafsson finish him?
Gustafsson lands with a hook. Tesser tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Gustafsson! Tesser is out on his feet! Gustafsson rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Tesser is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Tesser is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Alexander Gustafsson spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
