Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, John Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dino Ricci!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones goes for a high kick. It partially lands.


It looks like Dino Ricci has been cut.

Ricci shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jones's guard.

Jones looks like he's trying to stand up.
Jones might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Jones wants to control but Ricci is keeping busy.
Ricci winds up and cracks Jones with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Ricci is working for a kimura but Jones is defending it quite comfortably.
Ricci thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Jones is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Ricci jumps into side control!

Ricci decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Ricci manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jones on his heels. He'll look to pass Jones's guard now, I'm sure.

Ricci has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jones's face.

Ricci shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Jones squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Ricci goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Jones is on top in guard.
Ricci has Jones pulled in close to control his posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

With the fighters up against the cage, Jones throws an elbow but misses.

Ricci jumps guard and drags Jones to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Ricci wants to sweep here but Jones controlling him for the moment.
Jones lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ricci looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jones is one step ahead there.
Jones throwing strikes from guard but Ricci blocks nicely.
Jones wants to stand and escape but instead Ricci has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Jones is working an open guard so Ricci takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Jones tries to clinch up.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Ricci.
A lull in the action here.

Ricci stands up and beckons Jones to his feet.

Ricci's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Jones is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Ricci connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Ricci looking to finish Jones with some ground and pound. This is bad for Jones!

Ricci moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Jones has worked his arm free - good work by Jones!

Ricci is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jones knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Ricci works to advance to full mount. Jones defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ricci tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Ricci fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

And that's the end of the fight!
Dino Ricci comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Ricci winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
