The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Laion closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Alexbrother's guard.
Laion loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Alexbrother has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Laion can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Laion has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Laion missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Alexbrother is trying to keep Laion in close.
Laion lands a couple of elbows.

Alexbrother escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Laion gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Alexbrother is working an open guard so Laion takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Laion moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Alexandre Alexbrother has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Laion looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Alexbrother!
Alexbrother really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Laion. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
