The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kepe Eses shoots for a double leg takedown but Ortiz sprawls well. He's pushed Kepe Eses's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kepe Eses fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ortiz to the ground. Kepe Eses is now in Ortiz's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Ortiz is pulling down on Kepe Eses's head. It's preventing any offense from Kepe Eses, at least for the moment.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Kepe Eses throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Ortiz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kepe Eses moves away.
Ortiz has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Kepe Eses.

Kepe Eses is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
It looks like Syezd Kepe Eses has been cut.

Kepe Eses walks straight into a right hand from Ortiz - that's dropped him! Ortiz jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Kepe Eses from any more punishment! Kepe Eses complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
