The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Saturobi gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Saturobi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Flagstaff gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Flagstaff trying to control but Saturobi is working from the bottom.
Saturobi looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Flagstaff forces his way into half guard.
Flagstaff not doing much here.
Flagstaff is looking to advance position but Saturobi won't allow it.
Saturobi wants to get back to full guard.

Flagstaff is looking for a kimura but Saturobi is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Flagstaff to get the leverage.

Flagstaff is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Saturobi is just riding it out for now. Flagstaff eventually gives up the hold.

Flagstaff is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Saturobi tries to roll over but Flagstaff keeps him under control.
Saturobi manages to get to full guard.

Saturobi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Flagstaff doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Flagstaff manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Flagstaff tries to free his leg and advance position but Saturobi is retaining full guard.

Saturobi is looking to sinch up a triangle. Flagstaff throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Saturobi's body to avoid the submission. Saturobi has instead reached around Flagstaff's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Saturobi arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
