Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilkins scores with a punch to the head.
Simpson misses with a looping right.
Wilkins throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Simpson.
Wilkins looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Simpson is fending him off so far but Wilkins persists. Nope, Simpson circles away and we're back to standing.
Wilkins connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Simpson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wilkins.
Wilkins lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Simpson at a distance.
Wilkins shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Simpson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Wilkins works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Wilkins is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Simpson defends it well.
Wilkins has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Simpson tries to roll over but Wilkins keeps him under control.

Wilkins seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Simpson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Wilkins uses his free foot to push down on Simpson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Simpson.
Simpson tries to hold on but Wilkins postures up.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The referee warns Simpson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

It looks like Bartholomew Simpson has been cut.

A big strike lands for Wilkins! That's really hurt Simpson and he's turned his back - Wilkins keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Wilkins jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
