The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viper wants to clinch.
Viper tries to clinch up but Mazuke circles away and keeps his distance.
Viper swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A cross from Viper lands.
Viper has managed to clinch.
Viper manages to break the clinch.
Viper with a lazy takedown attempt
and Mazuke counters with a nice double leg into side control. Viper won't be happy with that.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Viper sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Viper is not content to let Mazuke control the position.
Mazuke is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Viper is just riding it out for now. Mazuke eventually gives up the hold.
Mazuke is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Viper is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
