Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and nate kaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

kaka closes the distance and clinches.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!

kaka breaks from the clinch.
Bob misses with a hook.
Bob shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with kaka but kaka pushes him off and we're back to square one.
kaka stuns Bob with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Bob decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
kaka slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Bob stops kaka from standing up.
Bob is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

kaka wants to stand up but Bob is controlling him.
Bob would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
kaka is pulling down on Bob's head. It's preventing any offense from Bob, at least for the moment.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

kaka breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bob fails to land with a series of punches.
kaka's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and kaka duly obliges.
Bob lands a lovely overhand right.
Bob shoots in for a takedown but kaka shows good takedown defense.

kaka feints and as Bob raises his hands in defense, kaka changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Bob is working an open guard so kaka takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

and kaka counters with a nice double leg into guard.

kaka decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

kaka feints and as Bob raises his hands in defense, kaka changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
kaka looking to sit in guard and control but Bob gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

kaka has his foot on Bob's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bob works his way back into a safe position though.
Bob has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of kaka is proving hard to escape from.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bob thows a big elbow that misses.

kaka has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bob can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bob tries for a takedown but kaka circles away easily

and kaka counters with a takedown into side control.

kaka decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bob to his feet.

and Bob counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for kaka!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

kaka is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bob avoids the attempt from kaka to control.
Bob is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. kaka can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
kaka tries to get back to half guard but can't.
You get the feeling that kaka really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
kaka manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Bob decides to stand and escape the position.

kaka feints and as Bob raises his hands in defense, kaka changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

kaka stands up from guard. Let's bang!

kaka moves into range and clinches up with Bob.

kaka breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
kaka slips a jab and a cross from Bob.
Bob misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
kaka misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bob tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

and kaka counters with a low kick, right behind Bob 's knee.

kaka pushes Bob up against the cage in a clinch.
Bob looking to slow down the pace here.
Bob jumps guard but kaka stands there with Bob around his waist. Bob gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Bob. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bob is standing up over kaka. kaka looks to escape but Bob dives into side control.
kaka is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

kaka bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bob misses with a takedown attempt

and kaka counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bob won't be happy with that.

Bob gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

nate kaka showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Bob throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck kaka on the side of the head.

Bob misses with a few strikes there.
A head kick from kaka lands but Bob takes it in his stride.
Joe Bob is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bob takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

kaka has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Bob dips to his left and cracks kaka with an uppercut!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

kaka throws a series of punches but Bob avoids them all with ease.

kaka gets a clinch.
Bob wants to break free but kaka has control.

kaka breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

kaka closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bob to the mat! Bob manages to get full guard.
Bob manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

kaka wants to hold on but Bob pushes him away.
kaka throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Bob knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for kaka on the ground.
kaka is in all sorts of trouble here.

kaka is squirming around, avoiding Bob's attempts to control the action.
Bob postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. kaka looks a forlorn figure.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well kaka has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
