The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borges throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Boxer counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Borges is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Boxer plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Boxer looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

It looks like Butch Boxer has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Borges throws a right and a left that both miss.
Borges misses with an uppercut
and Boxer counters with a big head kick but Borges shrugs it off.
Boxer thuds a left hand into Borges's body.

Boxer tries to close the distance and clinch but Borges swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Boxer looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Boxer counters with a crisp one two that drops Borges! Boxer thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Borges to his feet! Borges is in big trouble!

Oh Borges is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Boxer tries to close the distance and clinch but Borges swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Borges seems to have got his legs back now.

and Boxer finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Boxer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Borges circles away.
Boxer lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

and Boxer counters with a head kick that wobbles Borges - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Boxer sends him down. This one is all over!
