Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sarge Dela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Del Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dela comes to the cage accompanied by BLUNT- The Iron Maiden. The crowd seem to be enjoying Thompson's choice of entrance music: Gin and Juice by Snoop Dog. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sarge Dela!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Del Thompson!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dela throws a lazy right hand but Thompson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dela lands with a nice combination. Thompson backs away looking to recover.
Thompson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dela crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Thompson - the referee stops the clock and Dela gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Thompson. Dela manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Dela throws a looping overhand right but Thompson ducks down to avoid it.
Thompson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Dela manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Horrible takedown by Dela or perhaps it was just good defense by Thompson which made him look bad.
Dela connects with a solid leg kick.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sarge Dela. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Thompson lands a left hand.
Dela is trying to force a seperation but Thompson has the dominant position.
Thompson throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Dela blocks it with crossed arms.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Dela gets control of Thompson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dela will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Thompson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Thompson wants to control from the top but Dela keeps moving.

Dela has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Thompson should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Dela has tightened it up now! Thompson should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
