Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drapes shoots for a double leg takedown but Overeem sprawls well. He's pushed Drapes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Drapes walks into a straight right hand from Overeem.
It looks like Andy Drapes has been cut.
Overeem tries to clinch up.
Overeem slaps away a takedown attempt from Drapes, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Overeem throws a sloppy head kick and Drapes moves out of range easily.
Overeem instigates a clinch.
Overeem missing with knees to the body.
Overeem manages to break the clinch.
A shot to the liver by Overeem. Beautiful body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Drapes has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andy Drapes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Overeem shoots for a takedown but Drapes saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
No luck for Overeem with that takedown attempt.
Drapes circles away from the clinch attempt.
Overeem fails in his attempt to clinch.
Overeem tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Drapes paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Drapes shoots in but no luck this time.
Drapes takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Overeem shoots in for a double leg but Drapes sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Drapes fails with a takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Drapes bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Overeem looking for a sweep but Drapes has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Overeem looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Overeem looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Drapes lands shots from the back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Overeem is holding on to Drapes 's glove but Drapes gets free and slips his arm under Overeem 's chin. This could be big trouble! Yes, Overeem is tapping furiously and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Andy Drapes!
A relieved looking Andy Drapes thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
