Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wonder Watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Raclef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wonder Watson is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Wonder Watson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Raclef!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Watson darts in and clinches Raclef up against the cage.
Watson tries to pull guard but Raclef holds him up against the cage and eventually Watson drops back down to his feet.
Raclef throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Watsons head.
Raclef lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Raclef gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Watson.
Raclef tries to break the clinch but Watson is controlling the position.
Raclef can't break the clinch.
Raclef stalling against the cage.
Raclef lands with a light punch inside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Raclef lands a right hand that snaps the head of Watson backwards.
Raclef has Watson pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Watson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Raclef breaks the clinch.
Watson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Raclef but Raclef pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wonder Watson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Raclef uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Watson.

Watson throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.


It looks like Joe Raclef has been cut.
Watson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Raclef as he jumps to the side.
Watson tries to clinch but Raclef moves out of range.

Raclef scoring well with a low kick there.
Raclef moves out of range of the leg kick from Watson.

Watson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Nice sprawl there from Watson as Raclef shoots in.
Watson fails to land the takedown.
Watson is breathing heavily.
Raclef swats away the attempt to clinch by Watson.
Watson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Watson ducks under a wild hook from Raclef.
Raclef fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Raclef feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Raclef tries to free his leg and advance position but Watson is retaining full guard.

Watson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Raclef can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Raclef stands and steps away. Watson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Raclef throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Watson.
Raclef changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Watson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Raclef closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Watson struggling a bit here.
Watson is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Raclef's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Watson is looking to escape.

Watson gets back to full guard.
Watson wants to sweep but no luck.

Watson pushes Raclef off and gets back to his feet.

and Raclef counters with a stiff right hand.
Watson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Raclef's waist but Raclef gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Watson off to one side.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Watson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Raclef.
No luck for Watson with that takedown attempt.
Watson throws a body punch but Raclef moves out of range.
Watson looks for a takedown but Raclef sprawls well.

Raclef passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Watson manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Watson is trying to control the action in half guard but Raclef is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Watson is looking to take a break and control but Raclef is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Watson is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Watson works his way into full mount!
Watson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Watson throwing strikes here but Raclef is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Watson tries to control but Raclef wriggling away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Watson misses with a head shot.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Raclef can do anything to dispel that myth.
Watson controlling the pace for now.
Watson looking to finish Raclef with some ground and pound. This is bad for Raclef!

Watson trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Watson lands a big elbow.

Watson goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Raclef turns into him and now he's in Watson's guard.
Raclef must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Raclef wanted to stand there but Watson had control of the position.

Joe Raclef showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!



Watson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Watson has Raclef pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Watson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Raclef tumbling to the mat - Watson dives into Raclef's guard.
Watson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Watson pushes down on Raclef's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Raclef scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Watson manages to mount him!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Watson goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Raclef turns into him and now he's in Watson's guard.

Watson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Watson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Raclef is looking to escape.

Watson with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Raclef's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Watson looking for a guillotine from mount but Raclef is having none of it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Raclef is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Wonder Watson showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Raclef has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
