The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garelli keeps the fight on the outside.
Garelli moves away from the strike by Ryan.
Ryan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jack Ryan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Garelli throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Garelli shoots in but no luck this time.

Ryan moves into range and clinches up with Garelli.
Garelli is looking to take this one to the mat.
Ryan gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Garelli.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ryan loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Garelli scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Ryan land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Ryan stands and salutes the crowd.
