Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nakash Nakash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dre Johnson !
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Dean Styles and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakash pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Johnson back to the cage. Nakash follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Johnson drives through with a takedown into guard.

Nakash had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Johnson defends it easily.
Nakash really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Johnson throwing strikes from guard but Nakash blocks nicely.
Johnson lands a couple of elbows.

Johnson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Nakash trying to keep a closed guard but Johnson is proving a slippery customer.
Nakash looking to hit a scissor sweep but Johnson is one step ahead there.
Nakash avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Johnson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Johnson drops back looking for a leg! Nakash is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nakash manages to kick Johnson off! Johnson jumps back into Nakash's guard.
Johnson is working Nakash over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Nakash knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Johnson on the ground.

Johnson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Johnson connects with a couple of short punches.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Johnson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Johnson stops Nakash from standing up.

Johnson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.


Nakash is rocked!
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Johnson 's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Oh Nakash is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Johnson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Nakash's head.
Johnson postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Nakash covers up, he's hurt! Johnson keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Johnson and the ref steps in to end the fight! Johnson can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dre Johnson !
