Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between General Tudman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matti Swierzunio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swierzunio has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Matti Swierzunio has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with General Tudman's chin.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tudman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Swierzunio.
Matti Swierzunio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A combination from Swierzunio does no damage.
Swierzunio throws a lazy right hand but Tudman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Tudman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Swierzunio's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Swierzunio is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Tudman asserts his dominance and retains side control.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Tudman closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Swierzunio to the mat! Swierzunio manages to get full guard.
General Tudman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Tudman is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Swierzunio to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Swierzunio shrugs it off.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Swierzunio is in a horrible position here. Tudman smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Tudman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
