The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Behnder uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McDonald.
Behnder throws a push kick but McDonald slaps the foot to one side.
McDonald rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Behnder counters with a stiff right hand.
Behnder takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
McDonald chopping away at his opponent's legs.
McDonald throws a leg kick which misses Behnder's front leg but catches the back leg as Behnder tries to avoid it.
McDonald throws a low kick, looking for Behnder's leg but Behnder calmly moves out of range.
McDonald lunges at Behnder with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Behnder's hand.
Marcus Behnder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Behnder throws a combination that misses
and McDonald counters with a thumping low kick.
Behnder pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Behnder moves forwards but McDonald connects with a nice, crisp jab.
McDonald changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Behnder shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Marcus Behnder has been cut.

McDonald throws a right hand that Behnder ducks under and follows up with a left that Behnder also avoids with ease.
A telegraphed right hand from McDonald misses the target.
Behnder throws a chopping leg kick but McDonald manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

McDonald tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Behnder was well out of range. Poor timing from McDonald.
McDonald paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

McDonald drops Behnder with a beautiful combination! Behnder stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - McDonald is looking for the KO!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McDonald dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Behnder. That did some damage!
Oh Behnder is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

McDonald throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Behnder crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
