Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jim Steel!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Steel gets a clinch.
Steel misses with a knee to the head.
Ray lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Steel backwards.
Steel scores with a knee to the head.


It looks like Jayden Ray has been cut.
Steel blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Ray managing to block the knees to the body from Steel.
Ray stalling in the clinch.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Ray.


It looks like Jim Steel has been cut.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Ray on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Ray breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Steel tries to clinch there but Ray circles away.

Ray uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Steel has time to react.

Ray is trying to force a seperation but Steel has the dominant position.
Ray trying to stall but Steel improves his position.
Ray's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Ray goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Steel.
Still in the clinch, Ray scores with a nice short uppercut.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Ray takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Ray has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ray creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

The fighters are playing wrist control here with Steel pressed against the cage. Ray frees himself up and cracks Ray with an uppercut straight from the bowels of hell! Steel crumples to the floor, out cold! Ray jumps on to the cage and takes in the roar of the crowd! That was nasty!
