The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wrecker works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Yokida Matae has been cut.
Matae scores with a hook to the body. Wrecker takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Matae lands with a straight right. Wrecker didn't see that one coming.
Wrecker fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Matae lands a leg kick that knocks Wrecker off balance momentarily.
Matae throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wrecker takes a swing at Matae's ribcage but misses.
Matae scores with a nice body kick.
Matae fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Matae connects with a right hand. Wrecker shakes it off.
Yokida Matae seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Matae cracks Wrecker with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Matae has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Wrecker to stand back up!

Matae connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Wrecker out cold! This one is over in a flash!

Yokida Matae spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
