Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Boom Pow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Stickle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pow comes to the cage accompanied by Boom Boom Pow. Max Stickle has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Boom Pow's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Boom Pow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Max Stickle! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stickle wants to clinch and Pow counters with a two punch combo. Stickle is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Pow shoots in and bounces Stickle off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Pow postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Stickle is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Stickle is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Pow is controlling him. Stickle tries to strike from the bottom.
Pow has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Pow throws a big elbow that misses. Pow loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Stickle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pow. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Stickle lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stickle utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Stickle wants to sweep here but Pow controlling him for the moment. Pow forces his way into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pow lands with a punch from half guard. Stickle is staying active underneath Pow, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Stickle is looking to improve his position.
Pow is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Stickle doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Pow. Stickle moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stickle is trying to control the position but Pow postures up. Stickle working for submissions but it's allowed Pow to get to half guard.
Pow is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Stickle has managed to free his arm - good work. Stickle gets back to full guard.
Stickle keeping moving, preventing Pow from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pow working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Stickle's head. Stickle utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Stickle can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Pow controls the pace. Pow lands a couple of elbows. Pow advances to half guard. Pow is working for a kimura but Stickle is defending it quite comfortably.
Stickle pushes Pow off looking to stand but Pow dives back in and keeps control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Pow is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Pow trying to control from Stickle's half guard. Stickle has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Pow trying to control the position from guard on top but Stickle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pow accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Pow controls from within his opponent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pow landing some decent shots from guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Boom Pow dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Stickle misses with a body shot
and Pow holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Stickle misses with some punches.
Stickle's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Pow throws a series of punches but Stickle moves out of range. Stickle wants to clinch. A head kick misses from Pow. Some wild striking there from Pow.
Pow closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Stickle's guard. Stickle tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pow throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Stickle is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Stickle is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Pow throwing strikes from guard but Stickle blocks nicely. Stickle throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Stickle is looking to sweep but instead, Pow has passed into half guard.
Stickle is breathing heavily. Pow not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pow is looking for a kimura but Stickle is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pow to get the leverage. Pow is trying to control. Stickle wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Stickle wants to control but Pow is keeping busy.

Boom Pow overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Pow trying to mount his opponent but Stickle defends it. Pow throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pow gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Pow bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Pow trying to control the action but Stickle is working from the bottom. Pow in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Stickle trying to remain calm as Pow controls from the top position. Pow trying to control the position but Stickle is working away. Pow works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Pow has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Stickle is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Pow yanks on the arm and Stickle is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Pow.
