Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between George Delgado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conner Steven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Conner Steven is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, George Delgado!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Conner Steven!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delgado misses with a jab, cross combination.
Delgado scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Steven is defended easily by Delgado.

Delgado gets caught flat footed, as Steven shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Steven works over Delgado with some ground and pound from guard.
Steven throwing strikes but missing.
Delgado looking to control.
Steven slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Steven trying to control the position from guard on top but Delgado is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Delgado is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Steven is keeping busy.

Delgado has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Steven is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Well Steven has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
