The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drunkenski throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Drunkenski fails with the takedown

and Liddell counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Liddell scores with punches from side control.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Drunkenski has eaten all the pies!
Liddell just content to control the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Liddell seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Drunkenski for as long as he can get away with.
Drunkenski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Liddell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Liddell has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Liddell shoots in and gets a takedown into Drunkenski's guard.
Liddell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Liddell seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Drunkenski is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
