Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Markakis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kamil Korczewski!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Korczewski swinging wildly here.
Horrible takedown by Markakis or perhaps it was just good defense by Korczewski which made him look bad.
No joy there for Korczewski, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Korczewski throws a combination that misses

and Markakis counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Markakis is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Markakis throwing shots but Korczewski is blocking nicely.
Korczewski pushes Markakis off looking to stand but Markakis dives back in and keeps control.
Korczewski is refusing to be controlled, as Markakis sits in half guard.

Korczewski closes the distance and pushes Markakis back into the cage.
Markakis is trying to pull guard but Korczewski has him pressed against the cage.
Markakis using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Korczewski has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Markakis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Korczewski drops Markakis with a beautiful combination! Markakis stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Korczewski is looking for the KO!

It looks like Nick Markakis has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Korczewski swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Oh Markakis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Korczewski is trying to push Markakis away but Markakis has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Korczewski rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Markakis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Markakis avoids a kick to the body.

Korczewski drops Markakis with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Markakis looks back up at him and smiles so Korczewski waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Korczewski looks to land a left hand but Markakis moved out of range nicely.
Some wild striking there from Korczewski.
Markakis misses with a takedown attempt - Korczewski sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Korczewski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Markakis manages to avoid it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Markakis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Korczewski lands a left and a right that send Markakis crashing to the mat, dazed. Korczewski thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Nick Markakis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Markakis looks up at the clock. Bad move! Korczewski lands a right hand from hell, dropping Markakis. Korczewski pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kamil Korczewski!
After the fight, Kamil Korczewski was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
