The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tupac pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jones throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tupac moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jones misses with a two punch combination.
Tupac shoots in and bounces Jones off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tupac. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tupac wants to hit a switch here but Jones passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Tupac there!
Tupac bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Jones's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Tupac looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Poor strikes thrown by Tupac there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
