PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hanna Barbara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dudu Paraiba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Hanna Barbara has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Hanna Barbara seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dudu Paraiba!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, John Mangel and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbara tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Paraiba paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Paraiba manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Barbara on his heels. He'll look to pass Barbara's guard now, I'm sure.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Barbara wants to stand and escape but Paraiba is having none of it.
Paraiba trying to control but Barbara is working from the bottom.
Paraiba stands up over Barbara, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Paraiba pushes down on Barbara's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Paraiba is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Barbara doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Paraiba.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Barbara on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Barbara tries to get to full guard but Paraiba has control of the leg.
Barbara wants to get back to his feet.
Barbara knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Paraiba on the ground.

Paraiba is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Barbara is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
