The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jakson connects with a nice looking jab.
Jakson catches Glover napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Glover to the canvas!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Glover tries to hold on but Jakson postures up.

Jakson manages to capitalize on a mistake by Glover to take his back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jakson just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Mike Glover seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Glover shoots in and drives through. Jakson sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Glover. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jakson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Glover throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jakson's waist but Jakson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Glover off to one side.
Nice uppercut lands for Jakson. That snapped Glover's head back.
Jakson throws a leg kick but Glover moved away.
Jakson cracks Glover with an uppercut from hell and Glover crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Jakson's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Glover.
Glover fails with a takedown attempt.
Jakson connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Glover! He's out on his feet! Jakson rushes in and drops Glover with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
