The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Shimada and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Majiki misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Yamato.
Majiki is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Yamato in side control lands a decent elbow.
Majiki tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Majiki can't do much from the bottom here.
Majiki is looking to regain half guard here but Yamato keeps moving and retains side control.

Yamato has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Oh Majiki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Yamato tries to close the distance and clinch but Majiki swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Yamato moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Majiki! Yamato continues to tee off on Majiki, landing with a left and a right! Yamato connects with a right hand that leaves Majiki sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Yamato!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Danjou Yamato!
After winning the bout, Danjou Yamato thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
