Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fire Kask (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karim Al Abib (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kask comes to the cage accompanied by GLADIADOR - Now we are free. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fire Kask!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Karim Al Abib!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kask shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Al Abib counters by clinching up.

Kask is fighting off a takedown attempt but Al Abib is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kask to the mat. Kask regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Kask escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Al Abib gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kask trying to keep a closed guard but Al Abib is proving a slippery customer.
Al Abib scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kask looking for a guillotine here but Al Abib defends easily.
Al Abib is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Al Abib controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Al Abib won't allow Kask to sweep him here.

Al Abib gets to his feet - Kask follows without any prompting.

Al Abib closes the distance and clinches.
Kask tries to pull guard but Al Abib won't allow it.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Al Abib has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Kask regains guard immediately.

Kask wants to sweep but no luck.
Al Abib throwing strikes from guard but Kask blocks nicely.
Al Abib slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Karim Al Abib hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Kask takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Al Abib shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kask sprawls well. Kask wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Al Abib gets slowly back to his feet.

Al Abib forces Kask back against the cage and clinches.

Al Abib jumps guard and drags Kask to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Al Abib shoots in looking for a takedown but Kask manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Al Abib's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Al Abib throws a nice looking combination but Kask bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Karim Al Abib seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Al Abib is working for takedown but Kask is calmly controlling the position for now.
Al Abib is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Kask to keep the fight standing.
A frustrated look appears on Kask's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Al Abib shoots in looking for a takedown. Kask tries to sprawl out of it but Al Abib keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kask manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kask shoots for a double leg takedown but Al Abib sprawls well. He's pushed Kask's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kask shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Al Abib as he jumps to the side.
Al Abib scores with a head kick. Kask tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kask displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Al Abib.

Kask tries to keep at a distance but Al Abib has taken the fight into the clinch.

Al Abib tightens his grip and picks Kask up, before dumping him to the ground. Kask manages to land in guard.

Al Abib decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Al Abib shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kask is trying to defend but Al Abib finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Kask tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Al Abib is pressed up against the cage. Kask has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Al Abib down to the mat. Al Abib avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Karim Al Abib comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Al Abib has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
