Kron kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Iron Maiden - Deja Vu. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jason Mayo!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kron misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mayo scores with a leg kick.
Mayo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kron looks to score with a jab to the body but Mayo is just out of range.
Kron wants to slow Mayo down by chopping away at his legs.
Kron takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Mayo connects with a single shot there.
Mayo throws a leg kick which misses Kron's front leg but catches the back leg as Kron tries to avoid it.
Kron is looking to clinch but Mayo is avoiding it.
Kron moves into range and clinches up with Mayo.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mayo prevents Kron from breaking the clinch.
Mayo breaks the clinch.
Mayo fails to land with a series of punches.
Mayo uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Mayo blocks a head kick by Kron.
Kron doesn't manage to clinch there - Mayo circles away.
Kron fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mayo manages to avoid it.
Kron tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mayo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kron takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mayo lands a right hook to the body.
Kron is breathing heavily.
Mayo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mayo circles away from the clinch attempt.
An inside leg kick lands from Mayo.
Mayo listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Mayo paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mayo cracks Kron with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Jason Mayo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kron throws a head kick but Mayo moves out of range.
Kron on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kron takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Charlie Kron seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A decent looking cross lands there for Mayo.
Kron is rocked!
Mayo fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Kron to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Kron looks to clinch but Mayo throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Kron taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
