Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jasper Cox!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Karl Pope!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cox wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Pope throws a shot to the body.
Cox drives through and clinches with Pope against the cage.
Cox pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cox closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Pope pulls guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Cox gets to his feet. Pope looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Pope pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pope takes a swing at Cox's ribcage but misses.
Pope moves into the clinch.
Cox blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Pope tries to work over Cox's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Pope tries to land a knee to the head but Cox blocks with his arms.
Cox presses Pope against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Pope wants to break free but Cox has control.
Cox scores with a hook to the body.
Pope looks winded!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cox lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Pope fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Cox breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cox sizes up Pope with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
It looks like Karl Pope has been cut.
Cox moves into the clinch successfully.

Cox lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Cox escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cox sends Pope crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Cox is motioning to the referee to let Pope up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Pope is rocked!
Cox is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Pope flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Pope is out cold! Cox holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
