Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deane is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Narcus.
Narcus has a takedown stuffed.
Narcus checks a low kick from Deane.
Narcus throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Deane.
Deane throws a poor cross that misses

and Narcus counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Deane looking for submissions off his back.
Narcus lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Deane is looking to escape.
Deane is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Narcus scores with a couple of nice shots.
Nice strikes from Narcus there.
Deane has hold of Narcus's hands but Narcus slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Narcus connects with a nice short shot to Deane's temple.

Narcus lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Deane is still in real trouble! Can Narcus finish him?
Narcus wants to free his trapped foot but Deane is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Deane wants to get back to full guard.
Deane tries to kick Narcus off but Narcus keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Deane on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Narcus lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Deane quite badly. Deane pulls Narcus in close trying to recover. Narcus postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Deane on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Deane doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
