The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overeem slips a jab and a cross from Boondocks.
Boondocks clobbers Overeem with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Boondocks goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Boondocks throws a body kick that misses.
Overeem showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Boondocks.
Boondocks blocks the body kick.
Overeem avoids a punch combination nicely.
No joy there for Boondocks, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Overeem looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Boondocks is fending him off so far but Overeem persists. Nope, Boondocks circles away and we're back to standing.
Boondocks takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Overeem shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Boondocks but Boondocks pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Overeem throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Boondocks's waist but Boondocks gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Overeem off to one side.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Overeem decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Boondocks, up you get!

Boondocks throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Overeem colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Boondocks as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Overeem is left battered and dazed whilst Boondocks and his camp cheer!
