Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harry Callahan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brent Celek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Celek is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 40 oz. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 17 - 1, fighting out of New York, Brent Celek!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Eddie Farnsworth and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Celek finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
The fighters circling - Celek throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Callahan lands a nice leg kick that just misses Celek's sensitive parts.
Callahan takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Callahan scores with a takedown into Celek's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Callahan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Callahan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Let's hope that Celek has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Callahan tries to lock up and control but Celek gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Celek postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Callahan looks a forlorn figure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Celek pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Callahan back to the cage. Celek follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Celek lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Callahan circles away quickly and effectively.

Celek paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Celek tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Callahan missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Callahan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Brent Celek comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Celek has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
