Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Joaquin scores a takedown into full mount!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Joaquin jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Pennn manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Joaquin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Pennn is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Joaquin off and has taken his back!
Joaquin looking very determined here, making life difficult for Pennn.
Pennn keeps control of the position as Joaquin tries to break free.
Joaquin wants to control his opponent's hands but Pennn gets his hands free.

Even with his hooks in, Pennn manages to miss with strikes from the back.
Pennn controls the position.

Pennn looking to break Joaquin's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Joaquin remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Pennn will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Pennn misses with an elbow to the head.
Pennn wants to control but Joaquin manages to buck him off and is now in Pennn's guard! Nice work there by Joaquin!
Pennn is trying to control the position but Joaquin postures up.

Joaquin drops back looking for a leg! Pennn is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pennn manages to kick Joaquin off! Joaquin jumps back into Pennn's guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Joaquin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Pennn wants to control but Joaquin passes into side.
Pennn is looking for a sweep.

Joaquin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Joaquin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Joaquin gets to mount! Pennn was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
