The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winnitoy fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Winnitoy looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Squad slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Winnitoy misses with a jab, cross combination.
Squad scores with a hook to the body. Winnitoy takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Squad darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Squad gets a takedown into half guard.
Squad content to control rather than advance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Squad postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Winnitoy to stand up.
Squad drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Squad moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Squad seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Winnitoy for as long as he can get away with.
Squad wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Winnitoy, who protects the arm well.

Squad works to advance to full mount. Winnitoy defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
