The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anthony throws the kick towards the body but Jacobs avoids it.
Jacobs blocks a head kick by Anthony.
Jacobs throws a head kick but Anthony moves out of range.
Anthony misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Jacobs checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Jacobs misses with a takedown attempt

and Anthony counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Anthony is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Jacobs is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Anthony is aware though and is defending well.

Anthony got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jacobs has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Anthony has managed to get both his arms back between Jacobs's legs - danger averted.
Anthony keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jacobs's head.
Anthony postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Jacobs tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Anthony works over Jacobs with some ground and pound from guard.
Anthony working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jacobs's head.
Anthony cracks Jacobs with a solid left hand.

Anthony is sitting in close to Jacobs's body. Jacobs has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Anthony is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Anthony is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Jacobs.
