Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Denny Prokopos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taylor Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Prokopos might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Smoke Serpent - Jiu Jitsu. Taylor Harrison is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harrison moves into the clinch successfully.

Prokopos fails to pull guard.
Harrison has Prokopos pressed against the cage, preventing Prokopos from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Harrison is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Prokopos is defending well for now.
Prokopos tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Prokopos jumps guard but Harrison turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Harrison comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Harrison receives a warning from the referee for stalling.
Harrison is pressed up against the cage. Prokopos has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Harrison down to the mat. Harrison avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Harrison tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Prokopos paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Prokopos looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Prokopos is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Harrison is just riding it out for now. Prokopos eventually gives up the hold.

Prokopos is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Harrison is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Harrison flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Prokopos anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Harrison and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Prokopos slips an arm under Harrison chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Prokopos has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Prokopos is squeezing on Harrison like an anaconda would it's prey. Harrison fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Denny Prokopos!
A relieved looking Denny Prokopos thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
