Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dum Tweetle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Sharp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dum Tweetle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Carl Sharp!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tweetle throws a right and a left that Sharp avoids nicely.

Sharp rushes Tweetle and presses him up against the cage.
Tweetle has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Sharp after a bit of a struggle.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Tweetle turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Tweetle manages to end up in side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Tweetle controlling from side mount.
Sharp is trying to get back to half guard.

Tweetle is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sharp has escaped the position, nice work there.
Sharp gets back to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tweetle not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Sharp actively working from the bottom here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sharp trying to control from the bottom.

Tweetle is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Sharp has managed to free his arm - good work.
Tweetle wants to get back to his feet.

Tweetle wants to take a breather but Sharp is having none of it.
Sharp should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Sharp is trying to control but can't.
Sharp wants to get back to full guard.
Tweetle passes to full mount!
Tweetle misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Sharp tries to lock up and control but Tweetle gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Sharp is looking to get to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tweetle tries to control but Sharp wriggling away.
Sharp is in all sorts of trouble here.
Tweetle wants to control the pace but Sharp is squirming around nicely.
Tweetle avoids the attempt from Sharp to control.
Tweetle controlling the position easily from mount.
Sharp tries to hold on but Tweetle postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tweetle can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sharp is looking to escape.

Tweetle is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Sharp to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Sharp shrugs it off.
You get the feeling that Sharp really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Sharp tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Sharp gives up his back whilst trying to strike.
Tweetle has the hooks in. Sharp is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

That's five minutes gone in the round.
Tweetle not allowing Sharp to control his hands.
Sharp tries to escape the position.
Tweetle is not going to allow Sharp to sit and survive in this position.
Tweetle is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

Tweetle working for a choke but Sharp is defending well.

That's six minutes gone in the round.
Sharp looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
Sharp can't escape the position.
Sharp prevents Tweetle from getting a body triangle.

Tweetle has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Sharp has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Sharp trying to control the hands but Tweetle won't let him.

That's seven minutes gone in the round.
Tweetle just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Sharp looking very determined here, making life difficult for Tweetle.

Tweetle looking for the choke but no joy.
Sharp breaks Tweetle's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

That's eight minutes gone in the round.
Sharp working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tweetle pushes Sharp off and gets back to his feet.

Sharp looking to score a takedown here. Tweetle is defending well but Sharp drives through and ends up in Tweetle's guard.
Sharp postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Sharp gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A head kick misses from Sharp.

Sharp feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Sharp has eaten all the pies!
Sharp forces his way into half guard.

That's nine minutes gone in the round.
Tweetle trying to control but Sharp postures up.
Sharp is looking to take a break and control but Tweetle is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Sharp looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Tweetle slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Tweetle looking for a sweep. Not yet Tweetle, not yet.
Sharp wants to pass the guard but Tweetle is keeping the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dum Tweetle.
I think Tweetle has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1 rounds of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision.
