Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Amun Ra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown has chosen Don't You Give Your Love Away as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Amun Ra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Victor Brown!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ra shoots in for a takedown but Brown shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Brown tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ra was well out of range. Poor timing from Brown.
Ra shoots for a double leg takedown but Brown sprawls well. He's pushed Ra's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ra getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Brown displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ra.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Amun Ra. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ra throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brown's waist but Brown gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ra off to one side.
Ra misses with a body shot.
Ra swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ra will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Brown misses with a series of wild punches.
Ra looks to land a right hand but Brown moved out of range.
Ra lands an overhand right.
Brown tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ra swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ra fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Brown avoids it really well and circles away.
Ra shoots for a double leg takedown but Brown sprawls well. He's pushed Ra's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brown lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Ra doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Brown counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ra looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Ra misses with a takedown attempt - Brown sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Brown misses with a wild combination.

Brown feints and as Ra raises his hands in defense, Brown changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.


Ra is rocked!

This has been an exciting period of action!
Brown stopping the sweep attempt from Ra.
Brown lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Oh Ra is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Brown slips nicely into half guard.
Ra is trying to get back to full guard.
Brown wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ra keeps working.
Brown tries to pass to full mount but Ra defends it.
Brown working the head and body with strikes.
Brown seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Ra tries to roll over but Brown keeps him under control.
Brown scores with a big shot! Ra's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Ra! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Victor Brown!
Our winner, Victor Brown, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
