Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mateusz Krol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kakashi Hatake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krol comes to the cage accompanied by Hagen - Rebelia. Kakashi Hatake acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mateusz Krol!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Kakashi Hatake!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Phil Schofield and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hatake looking to score a takedown here. Krol is defending well but Hatake drives through and ends up in Krol's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Krol working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hatake.
Hatake postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Hatake stands and steps away. Krol gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Hatake misses with a few strikes there.

Hatake moves into range and clinches up with Krol.

Hatake is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Krol is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Krol has escaped and now he's on top!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hatake connects with a nice short shot to Krol's temple.

Hatake postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Krol is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hatake, into his guard.

Hatake is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Krol defends well.

Hatake is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Hatake had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Krol defends it easily.

Hatake working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Krol doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Krol manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Hatake manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hatake goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Krol is on top in guard.

Hatake is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Krol defends well.

Hatake isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Krol stacks Hatake on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Krol!

Kakashi Hatake showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Krol tries for a takedown but Hatake sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Hatake paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Hatake clinches with his opponent.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Krol as Hatake tries to tie him up.
Hatake tries to circle away but Krol has him pinned against the cage.
Hatake with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Hatake successfully pulls guard.

Hatake wriggles free and stands up.

Hatake fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Krol, pushing him back against the cage.

Hatake tries a knee to the head but Krol blocks it.
Hatake prevents a takedown attempt there.
Hatake goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Krol gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Hatake regains guard.

Hatake throws his legs up looking for a submission but Krol uses it to pass to side control.
Hatake struggling a bit here.

Hatake tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Hatake tries to hold on but Krol pushes him away.
Hatake is looking to improve his position but Krol isn't that keen on the idea.

Krol gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Krol shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hatake sprawls well. Hatake wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Krol gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mateusz Krol. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Hatake decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Krol's guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Well Hatake has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
