Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chris Kringle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Mr Bronze!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Sergei Dronov and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kringle digs a good hook to Bronze's body.
Kringle throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bronze sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jab by Bronze.
Kringle throws a jab but it's blocked by Bronze.
Kringle keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Kringle ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bronze moves away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kringle. Bronze does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kringle darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Kringle ducks under a wild hook from Bronze.
Bronze misses with a straight right.
Kringle on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kringle throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kringle is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bronze cracks Kringle with a good jab.
Bronze takes a shot right to the bread basket.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bronze stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Kringle on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Bronze darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Bronze is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Bronze thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Bronze looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kringle with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Bronze not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Kringle keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Bronze trying to control from Kringle's half guard. Kringle has other ideas though and has regained full guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bronze postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bronze throwing strikes from guard but Kringle blocks nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bronze has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kringle is proving hard to escape from.
Bronze stopping the sweep attempt from Kringle.
Bronze throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Bronze missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Bronze trying to control the position from guard on top but Kringle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bronze throws a big right hand that misses.

Bronze with a flurry of punches that miss.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bronze wants to pass the guard but Kringle is keeping the position.
Bronze is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Bronze advances to half guard.
Bronze throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Bronze throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Bronze has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Bronze scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Bronze blocks the strikes from Kringle.
Bronze wants to free his trapped foot but Kringle is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Bronze seems to be looking for submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bronze frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Bronze throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Kringle because Bronze loaded up on that one.
Kringle might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kringle working to try and regain half guard.
Bronze unloads with some shots from mount but Kringle bucks and avoids them well.
Bronze cracks Kringle with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The referee warns Kringle that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Bronze is in the full mount, landing strikes.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kringle is rocked!
Bronze unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Kringle wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Bronze celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
