Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Onassis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Socrates Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Onassis kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Billy Talent - Viking Death March. Socrates Thompson is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Onassis thows a body shot but no joy.
Thompson shoots for a double leg takedown but Onassis sprawls well. He's pushed Thompson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Thompson shoots in for a takedown but Onassis shows good takedown defense.
Thompson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Onassis avoids it really well and circles away.
David Onassis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Socrates Thompson.
Onassis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Thompson's waist but Thompson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Onassis off to one side.
Thompson closes the distance and clinches up with Onassis, looking for a takedown. Thompson pushes Onassis against the cage but Onassis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Thompson shoots and misses
and Onassis counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Thompson!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Thompson swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Onassis throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Thompson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Onassis cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Onassis wants to control the pace but Thompson is squirming around nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Onassis loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Thompson scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Onassis land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Onassis stands and salutes the crowd.
