Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Faulk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Sahebt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Arthur Faulk has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Arthur Faulk seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arthur Faulk!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Sahebt!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faulk slips a jab and a cross from Sahebt.
Faulk avoids the head kick by Sahebt.
Sahebt has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sahebt there as he acknowledges the shot.
Faulk ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sahebt moves away.
Sahebt wants to clinch.
Sloppy strikes from Sahebt. Those never looked like landing.
Faulk takes one on the button.
Faulk slips a straight right by Sahebt.
Faulk stuffs the takedown attempt from Sahebt. Sahebt gets slowly back to his feet.
Sahebt fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Faulk avoids it really well and circles away.
Faulk lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A swing and a miss from Sahebt.
Sahebt looks to throw the jab but Faulk is out of range.
Faulk paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Sahebt misses with a hook. Faulk ducked under it nicely.
Sahebt cracks Faulk with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Sahebt thows a left - swing and a miss!
Sahebt looks to throw the jab but Faulk is out of range.
Sahebt throws a sloppy head kick and Faulk moves out of range easily.
Faulk lands a slapping body shot.

Faulk lands a left and a right that send Sahebt crashing to the mat, dazed. Faulk thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Sahebt is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sahebt misses with a combination
and Faulk counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Sahebt is still on wobbly legs! Can Faulk finish him?
Sahebt looks winded!
Sahebt doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Faulk counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Arthur Faulk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Sahebt.
Faulk throws a leg kick which misses Sahebt's front leg but catches the back leg as Sahebt tries to avoid it.
Sahebt leaves his chin hanging out and Faulk seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Sahebt crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Arthur Faulk!
