Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Douglas Key (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Al Cassidy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Al Cassidy!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Douglas Key rushes Cassidy and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Douglas Key scores with a shot to the side of Cassidy's head.

Douglas Key struggles to land a body shot inside as Cassidy controls his hands.
Douglas Key tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Cassidy drops down looking for an ankle pick but Douglas Key pulls his leg out and moves away.

Douglas Key throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Cassidy on the side of the head.

Gabriel Douglas Key has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Cassidy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Douglas Key tries to avoid it but Cassidy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Douglas Key to the ground. Douglas Key escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The fighters circling - Douglas Key throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Cassidy looks to score with a jab to the body but Douglas Key is just out of range.
Cassidy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Douglas Key pinned against the cage. Douglas Key gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Douglas Key thuds his right hand into Cassidy's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

and Douglas Key counters with a lovely shot to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
