The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Degroski moves away from the strike by Dodger.
Dodger connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Degroski's hands.

Dodger instigates a clinch.
Dodger lands with a left to the head.
Degroski is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Dodger is defending well.
Dodger stalling the fight.
Dodger lands a left hand that snaps the head of Degroski backwards.
Degroski has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Dodger is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Dodger pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Degroski tries for a takedown but Dodger circles away easily
and Dodger makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Henry Dodger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonas Degroski.
Degroski looks winded!

Dodger steps into range and cracks Degroski with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Degroski flops backwards and Dodger dives into his guard looking to finish!

Degroski is rocked!

It looks like Jonas Degroski has been cut.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Dodger gets to his feet and stands over Degroski, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Degroski felt that one! Dodger unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Degroski from any more punishment!
