The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jones enables Doomer to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jones manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Jones reaches up to try and control the position but Doomer seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Jones rolls and tries to escape and now Doomer has his back!
Doomer slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Doomer is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Jones knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Jones for a finish.
