The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brasileiro decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Brasileiro is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Cheese sees it coming and defends easily.
Brasileiro is looking for a kimura but Cheese is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Brasileiro to get the leverage.

That was a close round but I would say that Roley Cheese will probably get the nod.

Brasileiro drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Cheese manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Brasileiro has Cheese in his guard.
Cheese drops back looking for a leg! Brasileiro is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brasileiro manages to kick Cheese off! Cheese jumps back into Brasileiro's guard.

Cheese stands and throws Brasileiro's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Roley Cheese overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
