PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rumina Endo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kane has chosen entersandman as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane stalks Endo and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Endo's face. Endo staggers backwards, shaken.
Endo slips a jab and a cross from Kane.
Kane tries to bum rush Endo with a series of wild strikes but Endo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Endo blocks a head kick by Kane.

Endo has Kane up against the cage in a clinch.
Kane unloads a knee to the mid-section. Endo lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Kane.
Kane throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Endo blocks it with crossed arms.
Kane tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Endo wants to get back to striking at distance but Kane won't allow it.

Endo decides to pull guard.
Kane pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Endo is keeping the position for now.
Kane must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Endo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kane is one step ahead there.
Kane wants to get up but he can't break Endo's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Kane avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Kane gets to his feet. Endo looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Kane misses with a wild body shot.
Endo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kane as he avoids it easily.

Endo shoots in but Kane avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kane ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Kane displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Kane looks to land a combination but Endo avoids it well.
Kane throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Kane misses with a series of wild punches.
Kane looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Endo dodges the punch combination from Kane.
Kane thows a body kick. Endo tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Endo walks into a left hand.
Endo missing with a left hand there. Kane was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kane misses with a two punch combination.
Kane misses with a double jab.
Nice takedown defense from Kane. No joy for Endo on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rumina Endo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kane throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kane misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rick Kane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Endo doesn't manage to clinch there - Kane circles away.
Endo walks into a jab.

Kane fails to land with a series of punches.
Endo looks to land a combination but Kane avoids it well.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Kane - that will leave a mark!
Endo is breathing heavily.
Kane lands a nice looking body shot.

Endo scores a takedown into full mount!
Kane is looking to improve his position but Endo isn't that keen on the idea.
Kane trying desperately to get to his feet.
Kane can't escape the position.
Kane tries to buck Endo off but he can't manage it.

Endo has control of Kane's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kane regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Kane regains half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kane is trying to stand up here but Endo is controlling him well.

Kane is staying active underneath Endo, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Endo has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Endo has hold of Kane's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kane manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Endo landing strikes, looking to finish!

Endo stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Endo scores with a takedown into Kane's guard.

Endo drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Endo as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Kane screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Endo! Nice submission victory there!
