PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Conway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Wewito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wewito has chosen Had Enough as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conway wants to clinch up but Wewito keeps it at a distance.

Wewito shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Conway's guard.

Conway is looking for a triangle but Wewito pushes his legs off easily.

Conway had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Wewito is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Conway Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Wewito's back instead.

Conway is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Wewito is defending well though. Conway let's go of the attempt for now.

Conway has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Wewito has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Wewito really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Conway. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wewito is trying to get back to his feet but Conway has full control of the position and if anything, Wewito has just worked his way into a worse spot.
